Hey there, folks! Welcome back to our Tidio tutorial series. Today, we're diving into Part 2, where we'll walk you through setting up the Helpdesk feature on Tidio. If you haven't checked out Part 1 where we set up LiveChat, be sure to give that a watch!
So, let's jump right in! First off, log into your Tidio dashboard. You'll find yourself at the heart of your Tidio operations.
now lets check how we doing , locate the get started tab, you can see we making progress, so lets setup our helpdesk next.
Now you see that settings icon? It's tucked away in the left corner of your dashboard. Go ahead and give it a click; this is where the magic happens.
Now, look for the 'Channels' tab. This is where you can manage all your communication channels. As I mentioned earlier, today, we're focusing on the Helpdesk feature.
Click on 'Helpdesk' to get started. This is where Tidio chat meets your email service, making customer support a breeze!
Next, click 'Connect Mailbox.' Whether you use Gmail, Hotmail, or have a custom mail server, Tidio's got you covered. Just follow the straightforward instructions to connect your mailbox. And hey, if you hit a snag, don't hesitate to reach out to us for assistance!
Once your mailbox is connected and verified, you can decide which department handles emails from specific mailboxes. Add as many mailboxes as you need; Tidio's flexible like that.
Moving on to the 'Senders Address' tab. Here, you choose the address your users will see when they receive emails from you. You can use your own domain by going to the domain tab, input your domain name, youll be ask to connect to your DNS, after wards youll be verified and now you can use your address via your just added domain or you go with a Tidio domain address—it's all about what works best for you.
Now, there's an option for automatic responses. Personally, I don't use this feature much, but it's there if you want to set it up.
You can also set up a custom signature for your emails. Just enable the feature and fill in the details—it's a nice touch to personalize your customer interactions.
Lastly, the 'Filter Mails' tab. Here, you can select email addresses you don't want to receive tickets from. This helps keep your inbox organized and prioritized.
Remember, each incoming email automatically creates a ticket, making it easier to manage the severity and prioritize your inbox. It's all about streamlining that customer support process!

Alright, first things first. Open up your email client and navigate to the mailbox you'll be using to send out test emails. This will be crucial for testing out your helpdesk setup on Tidio.
Now, alongside your email client, have your Tidio dashboard open in another tab or window. This is where you'll manage all your incoming support tickets and messages.
Once you're in the Tidio dashboard, head over to the inbox section. Remember, if you're unsure about any aspect of the inbox, we've got a detailed video covering it. Be sure to check that out for a deeper understanding.
Alright, now for the fun part. In this test, we're focusing on the ticket tab of the Tidio inbox. This is where all your support tickets will land, ready for you to tackle head-on.
Now, let's send a test email from your mailbox and watch as it magically appears in real-time in your Tidio inbox. It's like watching your support system come to life right before your eyes!
And just like with the live chat, when you reply to those support tickets, your responses also show up in real-time. It's all about providing timely and efficient support to your customers.
