How to install wordpress in cpanel? step by step guide
WordPress, a widely-used open-source content management system, empowers users of all skill levels to build and manage websites with ease.
Here We'll navigate the process of installing wordpress, step-by-step.
first, search "download wordpress"
Go to the WordPress website.
Scroll down and Click download WordPress.
After downloading it, Go to your cPanel account by navigating to your_domain_name.com/cpanel
Enter your credentials to log in.
Once logged in Scroll down to the Files section and open the File Manager.
Open public html folder and upload your file that you downloaded earlier there .
After uploading, click "go back" link and then extract the file you uploaded.
Now open wordpress Folder and click select all, by right click you can choose "move" and by deleting wordpress from this file path you can move all files to public html.
Now Enter your site domain.
As it says, Go to cpanel scroll down to databases section and open mySQL database wizard.
Set Data base name here and hit "next step"
Set a user name and password, you can use password generator here.
Copy this information and click Create user.
Here you should select "All privileges" and Click "Make changes".
Go to your website you opened earlier and hit "Let's go".
Copy user name that you set for database and paste it in both Database name and username.
Paste the password and then hit submit.
click "Run installation" and set "Site title", "Username" and password here then enter your Email.
this option asks you to index you website in search engines or not.
Click the "Install WordPress" button to finalize the setup process.
Now you can access your website's admin panel by logging in with the username and password you created in last step.
As you see, Installing WordPress is a breeze! No need to hand it off to someone else, you can easily do it yourself.
